  2. see comment below)
  3. Resize to 800*600 — Minimum resolution, usually…

  1. Ooh. The ruler was very nice. So nice that it gets to live in my bookmark bar.

  2. no need to refresh to turn off the ruler:

"Gecko users can simply press any key to get rid of it, but Safari folks will have to double-click somewhere in the window"

  4. The "edit styles" bookmarklet doesn't work. I had this problem the last time I tried to put it up in my blog too, but fixed that by disabling any text formatting in MT.

  5. smarty pants was messing around with it... the only way I could get round it was wrapping the link in a code tag...

  6. If you like the ruler, and are on PC, check out this little beauty of a utility:

    http://www.cthing.com/Downloads.asp

It's called Meazure, it's free, and is an absolutely essential addition to any web design toolkit.

  8. The ruler is awesome, and I noticed the double-click thing. Nice.

Couldn't get Edit CSS to work (Safari).

800x600 is great, and there are lots of other resolutions at www.favelets.com. I personally have a set of resolutions in a folder on Safari's bookmark bar. I just click the button, and there's a pulldown with about any resolution I'd want to test in. Quite handy.

  10. As far as I know the "Edit CSS" bookmarklet only works in Mozilla.

That’s all right though because everyone uses Mozilla right?
